Revopoint Pop 4 first scan

Well, I’ve just done my first scan with the Revopoint POP 4.

First of all, it’s important to mention that I’m used to the Metro Y, which uses the Revo Metro software, while the POP 4 uses Revo Scan. Because of that, the workflows are slightly different between the two software packages, and that’s where I felt the biggest “difficulty” so far .

As for the scanner itself, for a first test I was quite surprised. I immediately noticed that it is very fast, easily reaching around 70-100 fps, which is much faster than what I’m used to with the Metro Y.

Here are some images from the scan I’ve just made, using markers in Cross Lines 0.3 mode.

I’ll be testing the other modes in the meantime and will share my feedback afterwards.
