Water coolant reservoir scan

Another scan with the Revopoint POP 4.

This time, a water coolant reservoir used with the XUD11 engine, scanned for reference.

I already have both similar models scanned. They both work with this engine, but the mounting points are not the same.

One of these reservoirs is harder to find, while the other one is still quite easy to get. The main difference is the mounting position.

With both parts scanned, I can compare them and design an adapter that uses the original mounting points, allowing the easier-to-find reservoir to be fitted without major modifications, while keeping everything as original as possible.

This is the kind of automotive part where a 3D scanner can be really useful, especially for restoration, reverse engineering, custom parts, or simply keeping a digital reference for the future.
